Are The Eyes Of The People Around You Shining?

I absolutely love this TED talk featuring Banjamin Zander, Motivational Speaker and conductor of the Boston Philharmonic Orchestra. My favorite part of all is when Zander shares his life changing moment as he realized that his job was to awaken the possibility in others.

“And do you know how to find out (if you have succeeded)? You look at their eyes. If their eyes are shining, you know you’re doing it.”

Then he lands the bigger question:

“Who are we being as we go back into the world? It’s not about wealth and fame and power. It’s about how many shining eyes are around you.”

I could not agree more! How about you?

So here’s a good question to ponder as you begin your week:  Are the eyes of the people around you, both at work and at home, shining?
